Christmas Card Sunday Crew on Vacation

By | July 10, 2016

Christmas Card Sunday Crew on Vacation - blog.Stamp4Joy.comWe’re taking a break this week on Christmas Card Sunday from rubber stamping Christmas cards. It is summer, after all, and our hiatus this week is because the Christmas Card Sunday crew is on vacation.  It seems they ran off to Paris without me!

This card was inspired by a couple of cute “selfie” cards I saw by Amy Lee on Splitcoast that reminded me of the Polaroid cards I used to make (you can see one here).  The selfie/Polaroid cards haven’t changed, but I thought the theme of being out and about was very clever.

The “crew” of course is from Snow Place, which is still available for all of your holiday (or vacation – lol!) cards.  The card sentiment was made using the Brushwork Alphabet… love it!

I created a cloud mask using the cloud/treetop portion of the Tree Builder Punch, and the textured background was made using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The Eiffel Tower for this card came from the retired Artistic Etchings stamp set.  That and the Say Cheese set for the Polaroid card both can be found for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page.
