Simple Homemade Birthday Cards Using the Daisy Punch
Make some cute homemade birthday cards using the Daisy Punch and a few other new Stampin’ Up! card making supplies.
This birthday card idea is super simple. For this basic card layout all you need is a framelit to cut an opening out of your top layer, a card sentiment that will fit inside the opening, and your Daisy Punch.
Patterns from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack make the perfect rustic, primitive backdrop. A framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies was used to cut out the oval. Through that I stamped the greeting card sentiment which came from the Colorful Seasons stamp set.
Of course, the highlight of this quick and easy birthday card is the little daisy off the side of the greeting. I used Daffodil Delight Ink to stamp on Daffodil Delight Card Stock for a subtle effect. I punched it out using the Daisy Punch and then cut it basically in half with my Paper Snips. After curling the ends a bit I layered one on top of the other and affixed it to the right side of the oval opening using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
By the way, did you know we now have Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, too?
To complete the flower I then added a Clear Glitter Faceted Gem to the center.
