Kid’s Birthday Card and Paper Gift Bag

By | June 7, 2015

Blast Off Kids Birthday Card - blog.Stamp4Joy.comI needed to make a kid’s birthday card and paper gift bag today for a two-year-old’s birthday party.  I actually bought this set (Blast Off – retired) last year to make a card for his first birthday and didn’t get it done, so here I am a year later.  LOL!  I’m picking up a harmonica later today to go in the homemade gift bag.

I splattered a very small amount of bleach on the background of the card to give the impression of far-off stars.  It’s probably hard to tell in the photograph.  I added some rhinestones for a little more “twinkle” in the sky and for the lights on the space ship.

Blast Off Paper Gift Bag - blog.Stamp4Joy.comUsing the Gift Bag Punch Board you can get a bag made up in no time!  This is a medium sized one.  I started with a piece of card stock that was 8 by 11 inches.

How fun is this stamp set?  I think everyone will get a kick out of this handmade birthday card and gift bag combo.

This is my last entry for the Mojo400 sketch challenge and designer search.  It’s been fun!  Click on the photos below to see my first three entries. MM400DesignerBadge
