Tea Shoppe: Card Folding Techniques

By | November 17, 2012

Tea Shoppe Explosion CardI love using different card folding techniques, and here’s an oldie-but-goodie:  an explosion card!  It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve made one of these and I don’t know why, they’re so much fun!

The Tea Shoppe stamp set is featured here.  I love this set!  It’s very feminine, and it’s versatile, too.  The designer paper is Fan Fair and the tea bag is from Celestial Seasonings. 🙂

I punched out some flowers using the circle punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, and for a little extra “wow” I added some pearls.  The delicate trim was created with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

Card Folding TechniquesIt’s hard to see in the second picture (click on it for a better view), but I used the floral stamp from Elements of Style in the corners and around the greeting.

This is one of the cards we’re making today in my Unique Thank You Cards Class
